PT Training: Ms. Comley graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah.
Prior to pursuing her PT education, Ms. Comley worked as a PT Tech in a large PT Clinic, becoming familiar with the philosophy and utilization of Therapeutic Exercise and Modalities in physical rehabilitation even before becoming a PT.
Awards & Achievements:
Clinical Excellence Award (2016). This award is given to the PT Intern with the best record of treatment and abilities regarding designing treatment strategies and building relationships with clients/patients, and helping them to reach prospective goals.
Additional Trainings and Certifications:
...Thanks to her I will avoid neck surgery and am back doing activities I love such as yoga, hiking, and walking. Her holistic approach and manual therapy techniques led Tayler to also help my hip (bursitis) and numbness in my left index finger.
Statement:
I believe that it is of the utmost importance to view each person as a whole, not just a bunch of parts that may be having symptoms. So, when I meet a client, evaluate them and create a treatment program for them, I am looking at what areas of the body are affecting their painful spots, what their personal goals are in attending PT sessions, and what they need to know to become independent in caring for themselves and avoiding a recurrence of their present issues.
I strive to fabricate effective treatments that lead to the holistic wellness of each individual. I use techniques that will treat the areas of pain and dysfunction, but also that will treat other body areas contributing to the inability of the painful areas to get well. And I do my best to develop home programs that people enjoy doing, so that they will get the most out of their time doing their exercises and activities.
Additionally, I know that providing client education is vital to help them be an active part of our team approach in regaining function and returning to their activities, and avoiding relapse.
Caring for your body provides you with the best vehicle for living your life to the fullest, therefore restoring and enhancing your capacity to use your body, and care for it, is one of our main goals.
Specialties:
...In addition to her skilled hands-on treatment, I appreciate how well she listens and dissolves the mystery behind my symptoms. I found her approach to be both comforting and motivating.

Licensed Physical Therapist

Additional Trainings and Certifications:
Andrea spent a significant amount of time working at Barrow Brain and Spine's outpatient Orthopedic Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ, where she acquired in-depth, on-the-job training geared towards treating acute and chronic spinal conditions along with various other musculoskeletal and neurological impairments.

As a physical therapist, Andrea's skill sets are superb. Whether you are post injury or post surgery, Andrea is adept at zeroing in on problem areas and working to remedy them. I highly recommend Andrea if you are looking for a good therapist.
Sports Experience:
Andrea has extensive personal experience of the commitment, physical training and abilities needed to play competitive sports, after playing 4 years of college-level basketball while obtaining her undergraduate education at University of Missouri-Rolla and Lake Forest College, in Lake Forest, IL.
She first became interested in physical therapy due to her experience with various personal sports injuries during that time, and the treatment she received that allowed her to resume playing the sport she loved.
Statement:
I strive to render comprehensive care that promotes healing, helps clients achieve their desired level of function, and instills hope and encouragement during their journey towards improved health and function.
In order to accomplish this, I believe it is important to emphasize whole-person healthcare, focusing not only on the injury or condition itself, but also on treatment that encompasses the body, mind, and spirit.
I provide individualized treatment that is unique to each client’s needs and takes into consideration what treatment techniques and styles have worked best for them in the past.
My aim is to discover and treat the source of each client's pain or dysfunction, so that I can train each person how to prevent re-injuries and additional problems, leading to long-term relief.
I believe hands-on treatment is crucial for achieving optimal tissue health and function. Therefore, I use a combination of manual therapy techniques, including joint and soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, visceral and neural manipulation, and craniosacral therapy, along with therapeutic exercise and movement reeducation to help clients achieve their individual goals.
Specialties:
Andrea has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients throughout her career, and she has experience working with the following conditions:
Hobbies:

Licensed Physical Therapist
PT Training: Esther graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1986, from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
Additional Trainings and Certifications:
Certified in the Trager Method of Neuromuscular Reeducation.
Numerous additional continuing education classes have been attended in:
...I have gotten my life back, my feeling of joy, and found a therapist I can truly trust.
After just a few treatments with Esther Greenwald (which included fixing my slipped pelvis), my headaches and deep pain went away.
Statement:
I have been a Physical Therapist since 1986, working in a wide variety of settings over the years. It is my experience that the hands-on approach to treatment yields the most optimal results for improvement, and is the most satisfying to both the therapist and the client. There is no substitute for the healing touch of the human hand. It is essential for the therapist to understand the relationship between all parts of the body and how they interact with each other, as well as the relationship between the mind, body and heart within the individual.
Specialties: Although I am well-trained to perform general Physical Therapy, my strengths are in using Manual Therapy Techniques to treat Orthopedic disorders; Chronic and Acute Pain; Temporo-Mandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJD); Headaches; and Fibromyalgia.
Esther has been the PT I have been looking for! I have tried others before her and lost hope that any PT professional would listen to and believe me, let alone “fix” me...
Hobbies: music, reading, writing and exercise.
Esther brought great care and compassion to my therapy sessions and I can truly say that she is a great healer... She is simply the best and I am so grateful that our paths crossed.
Our Support Staff is available from 8:30 to 4:30 to answer questions regarding insurance coverage and patient appointments.
